JAMMU, Dec 19: HDFC Bank, the second-largest private bank in the country, today opened four branches in Jammu & Kashmir.
The four branches are located at Satwari, Doda, Channi and Narwal. With these, the Bank now has 49 branches in the State. As of September 30, 2012 HDFC Bank has a countrywide network of 2,620 branches and 10,316 ATMs.
Air Commodor Prashant E. Patange cut the ribbon at the Satwari branch, while the Doda branch was inaugurated by Gulam Nabi Balwan, Asst. District Development Commissioner, Doda and the Narwal branch was inaugurated by Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather.
The new branches will offer customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, Insurance, Two-wheeler loan, Auto loan to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, PhoneBanking, NetBanking and International Credit and Debit Cards.
