JAMMU, Mar 18: In a petition filed by Vinod Gupta alias Bholanand, who is serving in Bapu Asaram’s Ashram, seeking protection and investigation of case in a fair manner, Justice Tashi Rabstan today issued notice to Union Home Secretary, Secretary Information and Broadcasting, State Home Secretary, DGP and SSP Jammu, returnable within two weeks.
The High Court also directed the respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.
In the petition, it has been submitted that the expelled managing committee persons of Babu Asaram Ashram and traitors tried to induce him to corroborate with them. However, when he refused to corroborate with them these persons took the petitioner into their custody and threatened him. They even forced the petitioner to level false charges against Bapu Asaram.
