JAMMU, June 10: Two persons including Head Constable (HC) posted with 4th Battalion Security Channi Himmat were found dead under suspicious circumstances in Rajpura and Channi Himmat areas here today, police sources said.
The deceased Head Constable was identified as Anoop Singh Kotwal, son of Mani Ram Kotwal of District Doda, at present Rajpura District Jammu.
After conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Sarwal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, a man was also found dead under suspicious circumstances in Channi Himmat area. He was identified as Nazir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, a resident of Fateh Qadal Srinagar.
The body has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for post-mortem.
Channi Himmat Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
