JTC, SKF urge Govt to settle problems of displaced people

JAMMU, June 10: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) has accused the UT and Centre Government of their failure in meeting the demands of the displaced people from Kashmir and its leaders urged the Government to meet the demands immediately.
Shadi Lal Pandita president of JTC and SKF asked the Government that how long will there be injustice with displaced Pandits. He was addressing a protest demonstration held by activists of JTC and SKF at Jagti today.
Pandita said that inflation has made life difficult for relief holders who are facing many hardships. The Government should increase the monthly cash assistance of relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 as soon as possible, he added.
Pandita urged the Government to announce a package of 20,000 Jobs for migrant unemployed youth out of them 5,000 posts of class IV posts should be announced for those Kashmiri migrant youth who could not complete their education further due to poverty.
