NEW DELHI: Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal today accused Congress leader Renuka Chaudhury and Jairam Ramesh of misbehaving with her when she tried to raise in the Rajya Sabha the matter of alleged breach of security by AAP MP Bhagwant Mann by uploading a video on the social media.
The Minister said after the House was adjourned following uproar by the BJP and other parties over the issue, the Congress leaders misbehaved with her. After the proceedings of the House were adjourned there was a verbal clash between Ms Chaudhury and Ms Badal. ”Renuka Chaudhury came and fought with me. You cannot talk to a Minister in this manner,” Ms Badal told reporters outside Parliament.
The Minister alleged that the Congress MPs did not allow her to speak in the Upper House when she tried to raise the matter. Talking to newspersons, she said she would move a privilege motion against the two Congress Parliamentarians for allegedly misbehaving with her. (AGENCIES)
