JAMMU, Jan 22: A meeting of Non-Gazetted Handicrafts Employees Association Jammu was held today under the presidentship of Subhash Chander Sharma at Handicrafts Complex, Janipur, to discuss their demands.
The meeting strongly condemned the previous State Government’s attitude towards the employees for not fulfilling the genuine demands of the employees and pensioners.
The participants appealed Governor NN Vohra to consider the genuine demands of the employees and pensioners and also release 17% DA (10% due from January 2014 and 7% from July 2014) in their favour.
The meeting was attended by Sushil Kumar, HTO, Rakesh Maini, Murari Singh, Amit Kumar Sharma, Tarsem Lal and others.
