JAMMU, Jan 22: The semifinals and the final matches of Table Tennis intra-mural were played at Govt College of Education, here today.
In men’s section final, Anjeet Singh beat Raman Sharma by (11-9, 11-8) in straight sets, while in women’s section, Vandana Sharma defeated Nikita Verma by (11-7, 11-8).
Principal of the College, Prof (Dr) Ajeet Angral and the members of the College Sports Committee namely Prof Baljinder Kour and Prof Satish were present on the occasion. The competition was organized by the Physical Education Department of the College.
Later-on, Prof Angral and Physical Director, Mahesh Sharma distributed certificates among the winners and runner-up teams.
