SRINAGAR, July 8: With a view to strengthening youth cadre of his party, Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF), Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen today nominated Mushtaq Ahmed Paul as president of the youth wing of PDF whereas Ali Mohd Shah of Humhama, Budgam has been nominated as vice president of PDF youth wing .
Hakeem Yaseen, while announcing nominees of the PDF youth wing at a gathering of party workers here, said that PDF will assign a pivotal role to its youth wing for effective transformation of the socio-political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, in view of the prevailing socio political situation in Jammu and Kashmir, it has become imperative to bring youth in the fore front in decision making. He said youth have an onerous duty to safeguard identity and honour of the Jammu and Kashmir through a vigorous constitutional and democratic struggle.
