JAMMU, Mar 30: The Government today ordered contractual appointment of Gurmeet Singh, Incharge Chief Engineer (Distribution) Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (DISCOM), Jammu as Managing Direction of JPDCL.
Singh is due to retire tomorrow.
He will relieve Nasib Singh, Managing Director JKPTCL of additional charge of the post.
His appointment will be governed by terms and conditions laid down by the Power Development Department.
Meanwhile, Sunil Kumar, Incharge Chief Engineer, Planning and Procurement JPDCL Jammu, has been assigned charge of the post of MD Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) on look after basis.
He will also hold charge of the Chief Engineer, Planning and Procurement JPDCL Jammu on additional charge basis.
