SRINAGAR, Jan 23: Minister of State for Animal and Sheep Husbandry (Independent Charge) Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today paid a surprise visit to Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Directorate of Sheep Husbandry, here and ordered suspension of an employee of Sheep Husbandry Department.
During inspection, the Minister took stock of availability of drugs, supply and the distribution of the same. He also inquired about the staff strength and assignments. Mr. Gurezi issued instructions to head of the departments to ensure that the staff posted in various areas work at their respective place of postings.
At Sheep Husbandry Directorate, the Minister, while examining the offices files, found some of these lying on the table of an employee for long time. He directed for immediate suspension of the employee for dereliction of duty.
The Minister stressed for punctuality of the employees and warned that any laxity in duty will not be tolerated. He also called for quick disposal of files, adding that any official found resorting to unnecessary delay will be punished.
