Tributes paid to Netaji on 116th birth anniversary

JAMMU, Jan 23: Rich tributes were paid to Netaji Subash Chander Bose on his 116th birth anniversary across Jammu region.
Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma offered floral tribute to Subash Chander Bose on his 116th birth anniversary in a function here at Chhlain of Billawar today.
SDM Billawar, Dr Vikas Gupta, Divisional Forest Officer, Deputy Registrar, Cooperatives, Deputy Director, Fisheries, Assistant Director, Fisheries were among the present on the occasion.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma garlanded the statue of revolutionary freedom fighter, also famed as Netaji during the freedom struggle.
Dr Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that Netaji gave vital spark to the freedom struggle and his biography will inspire generations to come.
A cultural programme on patriotic theme was also presented by the schools children who also threw light on the biography of Subash Chander Bose.
Sacred Heart College of Education celebrated 116th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose in the college premises. Managing Director Hari Singh Chib and Principal Dr KK Tiwari in their speeches threw light on the life of Subash Chander Bose.
Birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose was celebrated with great pomp and show in Jai Hind Block of NITL Higher Secondary School. Chairperson of Managing Committee Chander Mukhi and Ajay Gupta, Principal highlighted the achievements of Subash Chander Bose.
On the 116th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, students and staff of Lawrence Public School in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family paid floral tributes to the great leader in the school premises. Students from all the four houses spoke on his life history and his contribution towards Indian Independence movement. Shakuntla Joshi, Principal, Lawrence Public School also threw light on the life of Netaji.
Dream Land Public High School, Udhampur celebrated birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose. Principal Sudeshwar threw light on the life of Netaji.
Netaji Subash Chander Bose Manch, Rajouri celebrated birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose at National Public Higher Secondary School. On the occasion, Deputy GOC Brigadier JK Tiwari, DIG BSF Raj Singh Kataria, Kulbhushan Khajuria, Tehsildar, Neeraj Sharma, ARTO, president of the manch Sunil Gupta, Sanjeev Manav, general secretary and Vivek Kumar along with others paid tributes to Subash Chander Bose and also threw light on his life.
116th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose was celebrated by Neeta Ji Subash Chander Bose Voluntier Association at Maheshpura Chowk. Chairman Chander Mohan Sharma, president Ashok Sharma, vice president Vinod Sharma, general secretary Vijay Singh Pathania, residents of Maheshpura and members of Matador Union were also present. Students of Shishu Bharti Middle School, Maheshpura presented cultural programme.
Pradesh Congress Seva Dal paid tributes to Subash Chander Bose on his birth anniversary. BS Sambyal, Chief, Pradesh Congress Seva Dal in his speech impressed upon the gathering to follow the path shown by Netaji. Pankaj Chibber, SS Jamwal, Vinay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Dr ML Rao and other office bearers were also present.
Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party celebrated 116th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose. On the occasion, an impressive march at Jantar Mantar appealing the youth, workers, students, political and social organization to join the ultimate revolution to demolish the roots of corruption, communalism and criminalisation in the country. Prof Bhim Singh along with Om Kishan, Rajiv Jolly Khosla, Jitender Singh, Sanjay Kumar, etc addressed the gathering.
National Secular Forum (NSF), Jammu University celebrated birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose. Dr DL Choudhary, Administrator, General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University, Ankush Abrol, member JKCA and senior NC leader, Shreyansh Jain, president, Vichar Kranti Manch International, Dr Vikash Sharma, State president, NSF along with activists of NSF garlanded the portrait of Netaji.
Duggar Pradesh Party celebrated 116th birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose. Floral tributes were paid to netaji, while the leaders recalled the contributions of Netaji to make India free from the clutches of Britishers. The speakers who spoke were Uday Chand, president, Mohan Singh, general secretary, Inder Pal Singh and Varsha Kapoor, general secretaries, etc.
Freedom Fighter Association organized a function to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose at Town Hall complex. On the occasion, Shah Nawaz Choudhary, State president, Indian Youth Congress was the chief guest, who while speaking threw light on the life of Subash Chander Bose. Ved Gandotra, MR Bangotra, RK Tyagi were also present. Students of New Modern Higher Secondary School, Gumat presented cultural items.
All India Forward Bloc celebrated birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose. Dr AK Kharu, State chief, Rajan Padri, general secretary and vice president Asif Geelani garlanded the portrait of Netaji and also threw light on his life.
Bajrang Dal and Netaji Subash Chander Bose Club celebrated birth anniversary of Netaji at Mandir Chowk, Poonch. On the occasion, president of Bajrang Dal Nishi Gupta, Sarabjeet Singh, vice president, Paramjeet Singh, general secretary and Papu Phool, treasurer recalled the contributions of Netaji to make India free from the clutches of Britishers.a
Naive Heeds Trust celebrated birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose in its office. KK Sharma, Chairman, Pritam Singh, unit president, Pawan Sharma, genral secretary, Savitri Devi, Randeesh Sharma, managing Director besides many other highlighted the achievements of Netaji.
