JAMMU, Mar 15: Prominent political leaders from Poonch led by Gurdeep Singh district vice president PDP joined the BJP here today. The leaders who joined the party were earlier having affiliations to PDP as well as NC and other political parties. They joined BJP in presence of J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here.
Gurdeep Singh Saraf, former district vice-president PDP, Ravinder Kumar Bitta senior leader PDP, Ambika Saraf councilor, and many other political activists from Poonch joined BJP on the occasion.
J&K BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, general secretary Vibodh Gupta (former MLC), Headquarter incharge, Priya Sethi (former Minister), Pardeep Sharma (former MLC), spokesperson Sunil Gupta, Varinderjit Singh, district president, Mohammad Rafiq Chisti and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party, Ravinder Raina said it is the BJP’s policy which is attracting people in large numbers to serve the society better. “The BJP has kept progressing with its agenda of nation building, since the inception of Jana Sangha and followed perfect synchronization between its words and actions. By taking the decisive actions to help every person from every region and every community, we have delivered on what we promised in our everyday speech,” he said.
Ashok Kaul said that the unbiased and fair love of the BJP for nation and masses have forced them to make the decision. He said that now they will be able to serve the society, region and their people with more efficiency and expressed optimism that they will also strengthen the party base in region.
The new entrants claimed that for the first time in recent political history, people have started believing that the political system is there to serve them without any prejudice.
