JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Mar 15: Ninety four persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir including 85 in the Valley and nine in Jammu while 77 others recovered from the virus.
Nine Coronavirus positive cases were reported in Jammu district while nine other districts of the region didn’t report any fresh cases.
However, Ramban is the only district in Jammu which has no active positive case.
Twelve persons recovered from the virus in Jammu region, seven of them in Jammu district, three Samba and two in Kathua district.
Jammu region now has 52228 Corona cases. Among them, 209 are active positives while 51289 have recovered from the virus and there have been 730 casualties.
The casualties include 377 in Jammu district, 64 Doda, 57 Udhampur, 55 Rajouri, 53 Kathua, 41 Samba, 24 Poonch, 22 Kishtwar, 21 Ramban and 16 in Samba district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 85 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 49 from Srinagar, 6 Baramulla, 7, Budgam, 6 Pulwama, 13 Kupwara, 2 Anantnag, 1 Ganderbal and 1 from Kulgam.
The numbers of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 937 including 728 from Kashmir division.
With 77 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 124,823, which is 97.73 percent of the total cases.
