NEW DELHI, Apr 18: The wholesale jaggery market remained steady in the national capital today following sporadic buying support.
Traders said lack of worthwhile buying from local parties and stockists against sufficient stocks position mainly kept gur prices quiet.
The following are today’s rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,900-3,000, pedi 2,900-3,000, dhayya 3,000-3,100 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,550-2,600, chakku 2,600-2,850, khurpa 2,500-2,550 and Ladoo 2,625-2,800.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,550-2,575 and dhayya 2,500-2,550. (PTI)
