JAMMU, Feb 16: Provincial NC president, Rattan Lal Gupta flayed BJP for spreading false propaganda of NC leaders joining BJP.
In a statement here today Gupta clarified that some former NC leaders who are now being touted as BJP recruits were actually expelled from NC for their anti-party activities.
He said that Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari is one such example as he was ousted from NC following his involvement in activities detrimental to NC principles and objectives.
Gupta further said that former NC leader Dr. Shehnaz Ganai had left NC some four years back to contest DDC election as an independent but was defeated by NC candidate.
The NC leader criticized BJP for deceitful tactics in spreading false narratives and stressed on the importance of countering such misleading information.
He said that NC will not rest until the issues of people are resolved.
