Gupta expresses concern over vaccine shortage

JAMMU, May 3: J&K president of National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI), Rajesh Gupta today expressed concern over the unavailability of vaccines across government designated vaccine centers in Jammu.
In a handout Gupta said that claims of administration on the availability of drugs in J&K have fallen flat.
He said that various State Governments have issued advisories in wake of vaccine shortage asking the public to not visit vaccination centers until the fresh consignments of vaccines arrives.
The NDPI leader claimed that people visiting hospitals for vaccine jab are being asked to come after two days. “The administration should simply ask the people to stay at home until the vaccine is restocked,” he said.
He denounced the claims of J&K administration on creating more bedded facilities for patients and said people are being made to wait to get beds for their loved ones at hospitals.
