RAMBAN, Dec 26: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has claimed that Gupkar Group including Congress, NC, PDP and others have looted the rights of OBCs on pretext of Article 370.
In a press conference here today, AIBCU president, Abdul Majid Malik said there is no clause in Article 370 to snatch the constitutional rights of any class.
AIBCU general secretary, Prof. Kali Dass said that BJP is still looting OBCs on the name of abrogation of Article 370.
He claimed that PM Modi has neither fulfilled his promise of implementation of 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in J&K nor he fulfilled the demand of OBC census in the country.
Prof. Dass also demanded political reservation for OBCs and said that the Government has failed in controlling soaring prices of essential commodities.
He demanded implementation of Mandal Commission report in J&K and made a claim that no political party is in favour of J&K OBCs.
“AIBCU will only support OBC independent candidates if they contest elections,” Prof. Dass maintained.
