Gujjar from Vijaypur missing in Pak, family pins hope on Swaraj for help

JAMMU, July 8: A tribal Gujjar from Vijaypur, Samba is missing from Gujranwala, Pakistan where he went to meet his relatives nearly two years back.
Since then Mian Bashir’s family is running from pillar to post to know about his whereabouts but all in-vain.
Entire family of Bashir including his mother, wife, four sons, two daughters, daughters-in-law and grand children are eagerly waiting for him.
His daughter Zulekha informed that her father visited Pakistan on a valid passport and visa.
“From there (Pakistan) he made a phone call to our mother and informed that he was fine and would return soon,” Zulekha said.
The family fears that something wrong might had happened to Bashir in Pakistan due to which he did not returned till date.
Bashir’s daughter further said that they are not rich enough to go to Pakistan to find her father and appealed to the government to help them in this regard.
Bashir’s mother Ilma Bibi’s health fell after she learnt about the missing of her son in Pakistan and she expressed her desire to meet her son before dying.
Social Activist, Dr. Hitender Mahajan helping the family to find their missing man tweeted Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj in this regard but after getting no reply he send a written request on the official e-mail ID of Swaraj in this regard.
Dr. Mahajan said that Ms Swaraj has helped many Indians trapped abroad and hoped that she will also help the poor Gujjar family.
The Social Activist further said that family of the poor Gujjar is pinning all hopes on Ms Swaraj.
