Gujarati businessman desires to promote various sectors in J&K

JAMMU, Sept 9: While expressing his desire to promote various sectors in the Jammu and Kashmir, a Gujarati businessman said that people of this State wants to join the path of development.
Gujarati businessman Bhavesh Sutariya, Managing Director (MD), Atmiya Fieldcon Private Limited, Gujarat said this while talking to the media persons here today.
He stated that the people of this State want to get benefited from the development works. He said that the abrogation of Article 370 by the Government has raised a new hope in the hearts and minds of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“After touring various areas of the Jammu and Kashmir, I came to know that this State has vast potential in various sectors including education, health, business, tourism, etc, which needs to be promoted”, Sutariya added.
He informed that the present GDP of the Jammu and Kashmir is 6.9 per cent and it should be increased in the near future, adding that education, tourism, health, business and various other sectors needs to be explored to raise the economy of the Jammu and Kashmir.
“After interacting with the people from various sections of the society and on their recommendations and suggestions, I submitted proposal to Government for exploring various sectors including real estate, special economic zone, village eco tourism, amusement park, adventure, wellness, health, meditation and mega food park”, he added.
For special economic zone, I recommended Kathua, Samba and Valley areas, whereas for mega food park, I recommended Chenani, Sudhmahadev and Basta areas”, he said, adding that for village eco tourism, amusement park, adventure, wellness, health, meditation, I recommended Sanasar, Bhaderwah and Reasi areas. Bhaderwah and Reasi areas are untouched tourism destinations and needs to be explored, he added.
Sutariya further stated that for real estate he recommended Jammu, Katra and Udhampur areas of the Jammu and Kashmir.
“If I get the support of the Government, I promote the last village of the Valley”, he said and appealed to the people to join him for making Jammu and Kashmir a well developed State in all the sectors including education, tourism, health, business, horticulture floriculture, etc.
