JAMMU, Sept 9: Shri Kailakh Jyotish Evim Vedic Sansthan Trust today organized a program in Raipur Domana constituency to release ‘Shri Kailakh Dev Chalisa’ written by Mahant Rohit Shastri.
The function which commenced with the chanting of the Vedic Mantras, was presided over by Prof Vishwa Murti Shastri and former Minister and senior BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma was chief guest. Mahamandlashwar 1008 Ramashwar Dass Ji Maharaj was guest of honour and Acharay Mahamandleshwar 1008 Swami Divya Atmanand Ji was special guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof Vishwamurti Shastri said that Mahant Rohit Shastri has done a lot for the promotion of Sanskrit language on different platforms.
Sham Lal Sharma said that Mahant Rohit Shastri was an icon for the youth and through his works he is uniting the society and promoting our culture. He said that with the Chalisa written by Mahant Shastri Ji the ‘Mahima’ of the Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan will become more powerful.
On the occasion, international singer Sonali Dogra, All India Phawa Mahajan Biradari president, Pawan Gupta, Advocate Pawan Khajuria, Sanjay Gupta and Sunil Sharma were honoured.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri said that they will distribute Chalisa at free of cost. He also appealed people to remain united and work for the preservation of their culture and moral values.
Dr D Daya Nath, Dr Sanjay Mishra, Rajeshwar Shastri, Ajay Bharti, Yash Seth, Rajinder Seth, Sukjeet Singh, Rakesh Gandotra, Deepak Khajuria, Ashwani Suri, Tilak Raj Shastri, Manmohan Singh, Angrage Singh, Suman Lal Shastri, Makhan Lal Shastri, Parveen Sharma and many others were also present.
