JAMMU, Mar 21: Guidance Institute for IAS/KAS, Gandhi Nagar here today conducted a one day workshop on ‘How to Plan Your Preparation for IAS/KAS Exams’.
Prof. B.L Sharma, former HoD Chemistry, University of Jammu interacted with aspirants and discussed approach and strategy in detail to be adopted while preparing for civil service examinations.
He familiarised the aspirants about four components of General Studies in simple and comprehensive manner.
Atul Sharma, a faculty member, elucidated about myth busters illuminating the success of an aspirant.
He also addressed the approach to be adopted in selecting and preparing for an optional subject with respect to rise of competition levels among aspirants in present times.
Sharma emphasised on the need of rigorous training along with series of mock tests essential for qualifying the civil service exams.
Upasna Khajuria, MD Guidance Institute for IAS/KAS laid emphasis on importance of foundation batches for undergraduate students exploring their carrier in civil services.
She informed that registration has been going on for morning, evening and weekend batches.
Khajuria also said that discount is being given to aspirants from economically weaker sections of the society and female aspirants.
