KATRA, Feb 14: A youth working with a Guest House at Katra-Udhampur road, attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances, here today.
The youth, identified as Atul Rai (26) son of Lok Nath of UP, was found lying semi-unconscious in the Guest House. He was rushed to Katra hospital where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained.
