UDHAMPUR, Feb 14: Rishav Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament concluded at Sports Stadium, here today. The knock out tournament was organized in memory of late Rishav Ramotra, S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass.
Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest complimented the organizers of the cricket tournament and said that sports play a major role in spotting the hidden talent among the youth.
The final match was played between UCC Junior and ACC Udhampur. After winning the toss, ACC decided to bat first and scored 123 runs in 20 overs. While chasing, UCC Junior achieved the target for the loss of 8 wickets.
Later, trophies were distributed among the winning and runner up teams by the chief guest.
Among others, prominent members of the tournament including Ajit Singh, Madan Singh, Romesh Ramotra and officials of Sports Department were also present on the occasion.
