JAMMU, July 30: The Government has extended the timeline for the settlement of unsolved issues in the old tax regime for the smooth implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) for payment of arrears under Amnesty Scheme up to October 31, 2020.
An official spokesman from Finance department while clarifying the earlier order No. 64-FD of 2020 dated 26-02-2020, said that the figures ” 30-06-2020″ and the words and figures June 30, 2020 on the subject, appearing in the said order, should be considered as October 31, 2020.
