UDHAMPUR, Jan 4: A Border Roads Task Force (BRTF/ GREF) jawan was crushed to death by a rashly driven unknown vehicle at near Chenani- Nashari Tunnel on National Highway today.
The deceased was identified as Benu Kumar PG (52), son of Gopal Pilay, resident of Kerala. He was working in 52 RCC Batote. The accident took place when a rashly driven unknown vehicle hit and crushed near Chenani Nashri Tunnel at Chenani. The dead body of the deceased was shifted to SDH Chenani for the postmortem.
The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem handed over the body to official of 52 RCC unit. Chenani police has registered a case in this connection.
