JAMMU, May 8: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, in collaboration with Dharam Jagran Samanvay, has announced the celebration of birth anniversary of legendary king, Maharana Pratap, on May 10.
The event aims to educate and inspire the youth about the Maharana’s unparalleled sacrifices, indomitable courage, and unwavering commitment to the nation and Sanatan values.
The program will be organized at the Bhartiya Yog Sansthan, near Revenue Complex, Gole Gujral, Jammu, commencing at 4:30 PM, followed by community Kitchen.
This was informed during a joint press conference by President of Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Bishan Singh; Patron of Dharam Jagran Samanvay Dr Shiv Parsad Raina, and chief of Rajput Pariyojna, Tarsem Chib.
Emphasizing the urgent need to highlight the life, achievements, and sacrifices of Maharana Pratap, they expressed concern that today’s youth possess limited awareness of India’s rich history, which is replete with examples of valour, heroism, resilience, and exemplary leadership.
They further stated that it is imperative to enlighten the younger generation about the great warrior who never bowed before adversity and stood firm in defence of his principles and sovereignty.
The organizers extended a warm invitation to the people of Jammu & Kashmir at large to attend the program in good numbers and take pride in being part of this inspiring tribute.
The event will be graced by Sat Sharma, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) as the chief guest. Arun Kant – Pracharak Akhil Bhartiya Seh-Pramukh Dharam Jagran Samanvya, will attend as a distinguished guest, while Narayan Singh – Chairman, Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha will preside over the function.
Other eminent personalities expected to attend the mega event include former Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, MLA Devyani Rana, Advocate Nirmal Kotwal – President Jammu BAR Association, and Arun Gupta – President, Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Jammu.
