Govt working on agenda of development: Bali

JAMMU, May 8: Stepping forward in the direction of improving the road communication in Raipur-Domana Constituency, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, today launched the black-topping work of 1.5-kilometer link road from Patoli Brahmana Bridge to Sharda colony. The work will involve an estimated cost of Rs. 50 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the present Government in the State has a clear agenda to ensure all round development of all pockets with special focus on essential sectors like road connectivity, health, drinking water, electricity, education, which he said are key to the prosperity and progress of the society.
He said the State has full support of the Central Government for undertaking massive developmental activities for the welfare of the people, for which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already announced a whooping financial package. The State Government will make optimum use of the financial package to ensure accelerated development of all areas, said the Minister.
Seeking support of the people in developing the durable public assets, the Minister asked the locals to associate closely with the administration and help in identifying the priority areas. The Panchayat Members and other prominent people of their respective areas must sit together to chalk out the priorities which will route to the MLA for his final nod. Ultimately, people are the actual beneficiaries of the developmental works, therefore, they must get involved in these activities pro-actively, the Minister asserted.
Speaking on the issue of the development of Raipur-Domana constituency, the Minister said that it is his personal endeavour to develop it as a role model segment in the State with all modern amenities for the public. He assured the people of the area to provide them all modern healthcare facilities.
