JAMMU, June 15: Terming the State Government’s decision on village education committees as a delayed step, Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) said that ongoing bull-cart speed reforms in Education sector were not sufficient to streamline the system.
This important sector was almost derailed by corrupt persons at the helm of affairs during the previous regime but it does not mean that needed corrections will take months together, said the Association and added that some meaningful observations in writing were handed over to the Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar more than month ago where focus was given on the public/stakeholders debates based education reforms for a result oriented outcome but nothing such is observed so far.
