JAMMU: Education Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today said the Government will upgrade over 400 schools in the State.
Bukhari informed the Legislative Council that the Government has approved upgradation of 200 middle schools (100 in each division) to the level of high school and 200 high schools (100 in each division) to the level of higher secondary school.
Replying to a question, the Minister said the upgradation of these schools would be done as per the existing norms and feasibility and compatibility of GIS Mapping. (AGENCIES)
