JAMMU, Apr 5: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum called on Director School Education Jammu and submitted him a two separate memorandum, highlighting the issues of teaching community and improving the quality of education.
In one memorandum, total 32 suggestions were listed for improving quality education for which a State committee has also been constituted under the chairmanship of Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to Chief Minister.
The second memorandum highlighted general problems and demands of teaching fraternity.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured the teachers that their important demands would be resolved on priority and pending DPCs pertaining to the Directorate would be cleared by April ending,
Amar Nath Thakur, State chairman of JKGTF assured all possible support to the Directorate from the teaching community for further improving the education scenario in Jammu division.
The delegation comprised of Satish Datta, State president JKGTF, Parveen Singh, Rahul Singh, Surjit Singh Jasrotia, Surjit Singh Sambyal, Vijay Kumar, Rakesh Raves Saraf, Ashok Panday and others.
