JAMMU, Dec 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today revised the interest rate of the General Provident Fund (GPF) of the employees in J&K UT.
Official sources said that pursuant to the notification F.No. 5(4)-B(PD)/2021 dated October 5, 2021, issued by the Department of Economic Affairs of Union Ministry of Finance, it is here by ordered that the accumulations at the credit of subscribers to General Provident Fund shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1 % for third quarter of the Financial year, 2021-22 (From Oct Ist, 2021 to Dec 31, 2021).
