SRINAGAR, June 17: The Government has reconstituted the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee.
The Committee to be headed by the Chief Secretary shall have Financial Commissioner Revenue, Principal Secretary Planning & Development, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Commissioner-Secretary Finance Department as members.
Commissioner-Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) will be the member secretary of the Committee.
The Establishment-cum-Selection Committee is mandated with the powers for induction of officers into KAS and promotion to various scales of KAS.
It also decides on selection of the Heads of the Departments not manned by IAS/KAS officers.
