JAMMU, Feb 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reconstituted the Board of Directors (BoDs) of the J&K Road Transport Corporation (RTC).
As per a recent order issued in supersession of all previous orders, Minister Incharge of the Transport Department shall be the chairman of the Corporation and Administrative Secretary of the Finance Department shall be the Vice-Chairman.
The order further said that the Administrative Secretaries of Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD), Transport Department, Public Works Department (PWD), Chief Engineer Mechanical Engineering Department, Kashmir, and Tapan Kumar Das, Under Secretary to the Government of India (Representative of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India) shall be the Directors of the J&K RTC and Managing Director J&K RTC shall be the Director-cum-Member Secretary of the newly constituted Corporation.
