Govt playing with future of ReTs, daily wagers: Sham

JAMMU, Nov 30: Showing concern towards the plight of unemployed educated youth, senior Congress leader and former minister, Sham Lal Sharma today warned the `BJP-PDP Coalition’ not to play with the future of ReT, SSA teachers, daily wagers and need based workers engaged in various departments.
In a press statement issued here today, Sham Lal lambasted State Government and especially BJP for befooling people with electoral slogan of `Achhe Din’. He said the woes of all sections of the society have been multiplied due to their mis-governance. The Government has been ignoring the justified demands of ReT and SSA teachers who are getting petty amounts as salaries.
Mr Sharma demanded early disposal of the matter of ReT,SSA teachers, ITI trained youth, need base workers, volunteers who are due for regularization. Such people should not made to suffer on the flimsy reason of screening, he added.
The Congress leader cautioned the Government that any inordinate delay in disposal of the matter of struggling youth who are forced to come on the roads, may pose security threat as the regular media reports about joining of frustrated youth into rank and file of anti- nationals due to inefficient handling by BJP-PDP coalition, exposed to serious repercussions for country.
He alleged State Government lacks interest in delivering result to the people. He pointed out that the youth are the backbone of society and the nation, but BJP only made loud talks, lost popular faith now is now opting to play with the livelihood of such highly qualified youth .
Reiterating his demand for early disposal of all issues of these struggling youth, he warned State Government that in case of any further delay Congress will not hesitate to support such youth who lost their hope of justice.
