JAMMU, July 6: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organized the State Working Committee meeting here today which was chaired by the BJP leader and former IGP Farooq Khan, Yudhvir Sethi, BJYM State President, Ravinder Raina, Parimoksh Seth, Jaidev Rajwal, Inderjeet Sambyal and Ajay Pargal also addressed it.
It was attended by 122 delegates across the State. Addressing the meeting BJYM State President, Ravinder Raina lambasted the Government for its failure to address the problems being faced by the youth in Jammu & Kashmir. He said the Congress and the National Conference Government has ignored the youth who are considered the future of the country. With Government policies the youth are being forcefully pushed towards darkness.
He said that the lack of youth oriented policies and subsequent lack of attention towards them has led to a feeling of disenchantment among the youth. Criticizing the Government for its failure to address to the woes of the youth, Raina said that the rising unemployment has led to feeling of disillusionment among them.
He said that there is need to harness new talents among the youth but unfortunately, the Government is reemploying their favourite people around.
He said the NC-Congress Government had announced at least one job in each household to middle pass unemployed youth with a promise of providing employment to all within six years but nothing has improved in the unemployed digits.
Addressing the meeting, Farooq Khan said spirit of the youth need to be channelized and utilized in a proper way so that their energy is channelized but unfortunately the State Government has no time for the betterment of youth. He said on one hand State Government is patronizing the anti nationals by adopting surrender and rehabilitation policy and on other hand nationalist youth of the State is ignored deliberately.
Khan said the time has come for the youth to gear themselves up and bring in change, a change for the welfare and promotion of youth and youth policies. He urged the youth to use their democratic rights to elect youth friendly representative in upcoming Assembly elections. BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi while addressing the youth said “ only BJP can do the justice with the youth as people have seen the failed Congress and the National Conference. He said Ministers of the Congress -NC Government are busy in multiplying their personal asserts and has nothing to do with the common man.
