JAMMU, Dec 26: In compliance of the Supreme Court directions, the State Government has ordered re-instatement of Janak Singh, then Financial Advisor/CAO in the Finance Department, who was given premature retirement in 2006.
Effecting re-instatement, the Government order number 1742- GAD of 2013, dated 24-12-2013, says that the period of premature retirement of Janak Singh from August 14, 2006 till the date he attained retirement on superannuation, is treated as on duty.
Pertinent to mention that Janak Singh had challenged the Government move of ordering his premature retirement in the Supreme Court, which issued direction for re-instatement of the petitioner.
