JAMMU, Oct 14: In connection with the recently announced “My Town My Pride” programme for Urban Local Bodies by Lt Governor, J&K UT, Manoj Sinha on the pattern of Back to Village, the Government today ordered deployment of senior IAS and KAS officers for Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Municipal Committees of J&K UT to take stock of the peoples issues and ongoing development programmes.
The two day programme will be held in entire UT of J&K on October 19 and 20 and an order to this effect was issued today by UT Government for the deployment of the senior officers.
Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo, Pardeep Kumar, Transport Commissioner, J&K, M S Choudhary, Director Employment J&K, Rahul Sharma, Managing Director Financial Corporation have been deployed in Jammu Municipal Corporation while Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary to Government Home Department, Hashmat Ali Khan, Director Hospitality & Protocol, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Director Social Welfare Kashmir and Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, Managing Director , J&K Cable Car Corporation have been deployed in Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
Navin Kumar Choudhary , Principal Secretary to Government Animal /Sheep Husbandry Department and Talat Parvez Rohella, Commissioner Secretary to the Government Higher Education Department were deployed in Municipal Council Kathua.
Dr Pawan Kotwal, Principal Secretary to Government Revenue Department has been deployed in Municipal Council Udhampur while Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary to Government Power Development Department has been deployed in Municipal Council Rajouri, Surab Bhagat, Commissioner Secretary to Government Labour & Employment Department in Municipal Council Doda, Sarmad Hafeez, Administrative Secretary Youth Services and Sports Department in Municipal Council Poonch, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, Commissioner, Secretary to Government Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens in Municipal Council Kishtwar, , Asif Hamid Khan, Registrar, Cooperative Societies J&K in Municipal Council Reasi, Rehana Batul, Administrative Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department in Municipal Council Ramban and Abdul Majid Chairman Special Tribunal J&K in Municipal Council, Samba.
For Municipal Councils of Kashmir valley, Shailendra Kumar Principal Secretary to the Government , Public Works Department has been deployed in Municipal Council Anantang while Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner Secretary to Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment has been deployed in Municipal Council Ganderbal. M Raju, Secretary to Government Jal Shakti Department has been deployed in Municipal Council Pulwama, Sheetal Nanda , Secretary to Government Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj has been deployed in Municipal Council Budgam, Simrandeep Singh, Secretary to Government Department of Disaster Management , Relief , Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in Municipal Council Kulgam, Ruksana Ghani, Administrative Secretary , Hospitality & Protocol Department in Municipal Council Shopian, Zubair Ahmed , Director General IMPARD, J&K in Municipal Council, Baramulla, and Mir Tariq Ali, Director General, Women Child Development , J&K in Municipal Council Sopore.
