JAMMU, Oct 14: Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Manoj Dhar along with Prof. Adit Gupta, Principal, MIER College of Education here today released newsletter ‘Prerna’ of the College.
A handout of the College stated that MIER College brings out its newsletter ‘Prerna’ every year. The newsletter for the year 2020 showcases achievements of the College, activities conducted and organised by its various centres and units, recognitions and awards won and initiatives taken by the College during the lockdown period.
Apart from all these, the international webinars organised by the College, alumni and placement activities, faculty and students’ achievements, cocurricular and sports activities etc have also been highlighted in ‘Prerna-2020’.
Speaking on the occasion the VC appreciated efforts of the College in promoting quality teacher education and for achieving extension in autonomous status for a period of another 10 years—from 2020-2030.
