JAMMU, July 26: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Suchetgarh, Sham Chaudhary criticized the State Government for its alleged discrimination with people of Jammu region particularly in supply of sugar.
Addressing a press conference here today, the MLA said that in Srinagar, the Government is supplying two kilograms of sugar per family whereas in Jammu region sugar has not been supplied for many months.
He lambasted the State Government for this discrimination and demanded to immediately provide sugar to the people of Jammu region.
He also held State Government responsible for unscheduled power cut in the Jammu region.
“Even the fully metered areas of Jammu region are facing scheduled and unscheduled power cuts”, he said and demanded restoration of smooth power supply.
