Govt committed to provide basic facilities to people: Veeri

ANANTNAG , May 8: Present coalition Government led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is committed to provide all basic facilities like road connectivity, better healthcare, quality education besides supply of power and water to the people.
This was stated by the Minister for R&B Abdul Rehman Veeri while addressing public meetings at Numbal Muttan and Kerbal Anantnag here today .
The Minister said that better road connectivity is essential for the prosperity and over all progress of the State and Government has initiated construction of various road projects, bridges, link roads, school buildings under various State and Centre sponsored schemes. He directed the Engineers to complete all ongoing projects within a stipulated time frame.
On the occasion, various deputations called upon the Minister and apprised him about their demands and problems.
The Minister gave patient hearing to all the deputationists and assured them that all their genuine demands will be looked into on priority. He also gave onspot directions to the concerned officers to address the problems of the people and ensure all basic amenities to them so that they do not face any problem for want of basic amenities.
The Minister was accompanied by Engineers of the Department and senior party PDP leaders.
