Govt committed to fulfill aspirations of common masses: Yudhvir

JAMMU, Sept 1: BJP vice president Yudhvir Sethi today said Coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir is committed to fulfill aspirations of common masses for which all out efforts are being made to ensure that issues concerning people are resolved on priority basis by the administration.
He said be it construction of lanes, drains, parks, replacement of electric poles or cables or other issues confronting commoners, all will be taken care of in this regime. He was speaking to a delegation of party workers who called upon him.
The party workers apprised Yudhvir Sethi about ongoing development works and also placed before him other issues that required immediate attention. Sethi assured the workers that the issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities in next few days for their redressal.
“People, he said have high hopes from the party and it was towards this end that in a short span major projects have been taken up in Jammu region. Work on maximum projects of importance have either reached midway or nearing completion, he informed the delegation saying that it is a continuous process and will not stop till the needs of people are not fulfilled.
The deputation put forth various demands including early clearance of different type of pension and social welfare grant cases, development issues, cleanliness and hygiene problems, augmentation of potable water and problems concerning power development department which the BJP leader.
While giving patient hearing to the deputation, Yudhvir said that the problems and issues raised by party workers would be taken up with the concerned authorities and assured that genuine grievances would be addressed in a time bound manner. He also urged them to strengthen local units and create a network wherein one could know about State as well as central schemes.
