JAMMU: Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Asiea Naqash today said feasibility report for establishing the National Institute of Medicinal Plants (NIMP) in Bhaderwah is pending clearance from the Government of India.
Replying to a question by MLA Daleep Singh Parihar in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister said the two sites, Kotli village (50 kanals) and Basti village (100 kanals) in Bhaderwah, identified for establishing the NIMP were inspected by an Expert Committee of the Union Ministry of AYUSH in July 2015.
“The report of the Expert Committee has not been received by the State Government till date despite assurances by the Union Minister of AYUSH during his visit to the State in October 2015,” she said. (AGENCIES)
