Govt approves CHC, Casualty Block

JAMMU, Sept 23: Issuing separate orders, Government today accorded sanction to the construction of 50-bedded Community Health Centre (CHC) at Kandi (Rajouri) and construction of Emergency Block in District Hospital (DH) Poonch.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the post-facto Administrative Approval for ‘Construction of 50-bedded CHC along with Doctors’ Quarters at Kandi, Rajouri’ at an estimated cost of Rs 659.83 lakh,” said an order issued today by the Government.
Another order reads “Sanction is hereby accorded to the post-facto Administrative Approval for ‘Construction of Emergency/Casualty Block in District Hospital, Poonch” at an estimated cost of Rs 532 lakh.
The Administrative approval is however subject to some conditions such as there should be no further cost/time overrun in the projects and the set time should be strictly adhered to. Further, the building plans and other relevant drawings of the projects should be got authenticated by the competent authority well before execution of works.
Other conditions included availability of encumbrance free land for execution of works and seeking NOC from all Regulatory authorities before the commencement of works.
