SRINAGAR, Oct 31: On the appointed day for the creation of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Government today appointed 20 Assisting Counsels, who shall be assisting the Law Officers (Sr. AAG(s), DAG(s) and GA(s) appearing on behalf of State in day to day proceedings before the High Court at Srinagar and Jammu.
The orders were handed over to 9 Advocates of Srinagar wing by Advocate General, DC Raina in presence of Secretary, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs.
