Governor, CM greet people on Losar

JAMMU, Dec 11: Governor N. N. Vohra, has extended warm greetings to the people of Ladakh on the auspicious occasion of Losar, the Ladakhi New Year.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the festival of Losar symbolizes the high traditions of love, tolerance, amity, communal harmony and brotherhood, which the people of Ladakh have cherished and nurtured over the centuries.
The Governor wished the people a Happy Losar and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has also extended warm greetings to the people of Ladakh on the auspicious occasion of Losar, which marks the beginning of new year in Ladakh region.
In his message of felicitations, Mufti Sayeed described Ladakh as an intrinsic part of the state’s composite culture and hoped that the festival of Losar will be a harbinger of unity, peace and prosperity of the State.
The Chief Minister also prayed for wellbeing of the people on this holy occasion.
