Goons snatch cash, mobile from specially abled person

SAMBA, Sept 6: Some unidentified people thrashed a specially abled person at Bari Brahmana yesterday and snatched his mobile and Rs 8000 cash.
The specially abled person identified as Surjit Singh who was running a tailoring shop at Bari Brahmana was going to drop his one of the helpers at his residence last night and after returning from there he was overpowered by two persons who posed as CID officials and forcibly dragged him saying that they will take him to Police Station, Bari Brahmana as they had reports that he was indulging in anti social activities.
After taking him to some distance they snatched his mobile and Rs 8000 in cash. They broke the mobile and gave him a thrashing.
The poor fellow later reported the matter at Bari Brahmana Police Station and demanded action against the goons under law who impersonated as officials of CID and thrashed him.
When contacted SHO, Bari Brahmana, Rajesh Sharma said that they have initiated action in the matter and tomorrow they will parade some suspects before the tailor master for identification and in case any one among them was found involved in the act he will be dealt under law.
