REASI, Mar 29: Carrying forward the campaign for the Parliamentary elections in Reasi district, Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP lambasted the successive State Governments of ignoring the remote areas of Reasi where people are still living in the primitive conditions.
“People should genuinely differentiate between parties that stand solely for power and those sincerely fighting for the cause of the public. Panthers party is your lone voice which has emerged as a reckoning force of Jammu region”, Harsh claimed.
He addressed series of public meetings at Gool, Gulabgarh, Arnas, Mahore, Salal, Jansalan and Sangaldan areas of Reasi segment in Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency today.
While addressing the gatherings, Harsh Dev regretted that despite the tall sloganeering of various political parties during elections none of the promises made by them had been redeemed after they assumed power. “Having been cheated by the traditional political parties for the last seven decades, the people of these areas were fast losing faith in the political system. The political houses including the BJP made lofty promises and assured doles to the people, which turned into mere hyperbole and nothing else”, he further claimed.
“What happened to Modi’s model village scheme?” he asked adding that the local youth are facing unemployment and children were deprived of basic school education.
