JAMMU, Nov 7: Lt Gen A K Sharma, GOC 16 Corps, called on Governor N N Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today and briefed him about prevailing security situation in his area.
The Governor discussed with the GOC certain issues related to effective internal security management in the hinterland and further strengthening of the counter-infiltration grid.
Meanwhile, DGP K Rajendra also called on Governor N N Vohra and briefed him about security management situation in the State.
The Governor stressed the need to enhance effective surveillance on all fronts and enforce immediate deterrent action for engendering a safe environment and protection of life and property.
The Governor discussed with the DGP certain issues relating to effective law and order management and action against all subversive elements.
