Glowing tributes paid to martyr DySP

RAJOURI, Dec 27: Glowing tributes were paid to Dy SP Ganishyam Khajuria on his 20th martyrdom day at a special function held at village Kalar near here today. The function was attended by a large number of people including political leaders and police officers.
Besides, senior BJP leader and ex vice chairman of Pahari Development Board, Kuldeep Raj Gupta the function was attended by SSP Rajouri also. The speakers while paying glowing tributes to martyr said the sacrifices made by police, army personnel and other nationalist people will not go waste and the designs of the enemy have been frustrated.
While paying tributes to Khajuria, Kuldeep Raj Gupta said he was a brave police officer who took the terrorists on front. He, while blaming Pakistan for blood shed in J&K said the hands of neighbouring country are soaked in blood since 1947 after the partition of the nation on communal ground.
He said three months after partition, Pakistan attacked Rajouri and killed thousands of people there. This was followed by sending of armed desperados in 1965 to J&K and Rajouri Poonch were their main targets. But the designs of the enemy were frustrated after it was defeated in the war later.
Gupta said in Kargil war too Pakistan was defeated. He said it is shameful; on part of neighbouring country that she is indulging in proxy war for last 30 years.
Maintaining that martyrdom day of Khajuria is an important day for us, he said nation and its 130 crore people should resolve today to defeat the designs of enemy once for all.
