JAMMU, Mar 14: A young girl today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Arnia area of RS Pura sector.
According to a police spokesperson, the girl identified as Ritu Devi (18) daughter of Kuldeep Raj, a resident of Salaid in Arnia area allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence. The family members immediately rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
